PTE (Pearson Test of English) is a computer delivered exam and assesses listening, reading speaking and writing.


1) Speaking and Writing: Total Time - Approximately 77-93 minutes





2) Reading: Total Time - Approximately 32-41 minutes


3) Listening: Total Time - Approximately 45-57 minutes

About OET test scoring

OET 2.0 Test Scoring information

1) OET 2.0 Listening Sub-test scoring criteria: Total time= 50 minutes

Total Marks= 42 marks
Scores of Part A= 24 marks
Scores of Part B= 6 marks
Scores of Part C= 12 marks

2) OET 2.0 Reading Sub-test scoring criteria: Total time= 60 minutes

Total Marks= 42 marks
Scores of Part A= 20 marks
Scores of Part B= 6 marks
Scores of Part C= 16 marks

3) OET 2.0 Writing Sub-test scoring criteria: Total time= 45 minutes

Total word limit- 180-200 words.
A referral letter usually a patient transfer letter or a discharge letter.

A candidate needs to fulfill the following requirements to get a B-grade or above:

2) Content
3) Conciseness and Clarity
4) Genre and Style
5) Organisation and Layout

Total tasks to be performed- 2 Role Plays
